When I had the same issue in a BMW I just got a resistor to replicate someone in the seat at all times and then one to show the seatbelt was buckled to stop that warning. Its not ideal but it is safe and saves a 4 figure repair bill for something that is likely to go wrong again in the future.I really wish you were correct here, as it is your sort of right, but unfortunately the usual route is not an easy option. the older seats use 4 load sensing bolts, why 4, fking no idea. anyway one will be on the fritz, which one? dont know you need 2k's worth of MDS to know that via the obd port. if i bypass one it will always be wrong vs the other 3 "bolts"The revised mclaren part is to remove all of that, fit an occupancy pad with a new controller, program the car. 4/5kOld bolts are NLA. I will sort something out, just not sure what yet......
