엔진 마운트 교환

1998 마즈다 626 2L 자동변속기 오일 필터 교환 시 팬 볼트가 엔진/트랜스미션 마운트가 장착된 빔으로 막혀 있음. GF4A-EL 트랜스미션 사용.

스즈키 지미니(JB23W) | 타이어 에어 충전 | 공정1: 지금까지 주유소나 대형마트에서 에어를 충전했습니다. 이전에 전동식 제품이 싸게 판매되어서 구매했습니다. 배터리 구동식이며, 설정하면 지정된 압력에서 자동으로 정지합니다. 소음은 어느 정도 있지만 낮 시간대에는 문제없는 수준입니다.

프리우스 배터리가 방전되었습니다. 좁은 차고에 있습니다. 1) 중립 기어로 변속하여 밀어서 차고 밖으로 빼낼 수 있습니까? 2) 트렁크의 보조 배터리에 점프를 걸기 위해 후면 해치를 열 수 있습니까? 3) 20피트 점프 케이블을 구입할 가치가 있습니까? 4) 도로 서비스를 부르는 것이 나을까요?

냉각수 교환

2012 볼보 C30 T5에서 에어컨을 켜면 15-30초 동안 냉각수 냄새가 실내에서 난다. 블로어만 켜면 냄새가 나지 않음. 과열이나 냉각수 부족, A/C 냉각력 저하는 없음. 최근 냉각수 탱크가 폭발적으로 고장나서 엔진룸 전체에 냉각수가 흩어졌었음.

2002년식 BMW E39, 브레이킹 시 앞쪽에서 노킹음 발생 - 차 내부보다 외부에서 더 큼. 브레이크 더스트 실드 손상이 원인인지 의문.

로우빔 또는 하이빔을 교체할 때 벌브 그리스가 정말 필요한가?

배터리 교환

폭스바겐 캐디의 12V 액세서리 포트에 이코플로우 배터리를 계속 연결하고 싶지만, 캐디 매뉴얼에서는 시동 켜기/끄기 전에 12V 액세서리를 분리하라고 경고함. 이로 인해 배터리를 계속 뺐다 꽂아야 하는 불편함 발생.

배터리가 많이 방전되었지만 점프 스타트로 시동이 바로 걸림. 배터리가 나쁜 상태인지 확인 필요. 차량을 계속 running 상태로 두고 충전해도 되는지, 얼마나 오래 running 상태를 유지해도 안전한지 궁금함.

Thanks to a fortuitous set of financial circumstances (mortgage paid off, made redundant at the back end of last year, and found a new job pretty sharpish - meaning the redundancy payout I got can be spent on a 'want', not a 'need') I have recently found myself in a position to tick off a big bucket list item for me.If we rewind back to the late 90s ... lads had their hair cut with a bowl and curtain fringes ... girl power was trying to work out what a zig-a-zig-ah was ... and a small group of mentalists were building bonkers cars in Blackpool. I have been reparing my weed wacker, so I have the gasoline/oil mixture on my hands. I have washed them twice with hand soap, once with orange soap scrub, once with dish soap, once with hand sanitizer, and finally once with white vinegar. The white vinegar has done the best job so far. Could I have stopped after a few washings, or it is still unsafe to handle food if I can still smell the gasoline in my hands?

After more than ten years of E36 tinkering, many engine iterations and lots of seat time from track days to racing, it was time so start something new. An accident in the E36 at Cadwell Park in April 2023 was the ultimate deciding factor for this. The car was repairable, but it's fate was already decided - break it for parts and retain what I needed, then sell the rest to fund the next project.
