정비 사례

2003 Ram 4.7L - 에어컨이 정상 작동하다가 신호등에서 멈추면 작은 소리가 나고 매우 뜨거운 바람이 나옴. 중립에 놓고 RPM을 올려도 개선되지 않으며, 트럭이 움직일 때만 다시 냉각됨. 엔진 꺼질 때마다 약 6초간 쉭쉭거리는 소리 발생. 냉매를 완전히 배출하고 진공을 뽑은 후 상급 134a로 충전했으나 변화 없음(약간만 냉각됨). 냉매량은 감소하지 않음.

신차(Tata Tiago)의 우측 후방 브레이크 드럼이 좌측보다 훨씬 더 많이 가열됨. 초기에는 소음도 있었으나 ABS 교체 후 소음은 없어졌으나 여전히 드럼이 과열됨. 정비사는 정상이라고 주장하나 의심스러움.

2008 폰티액 G6의 엔진오일 주입구에 냉각수가 실수로 들어감. 아직 시동을 걸지 않음. 엔진 플러시가 필요한지 불확실함.

밤에 녹은 눈물이 고인 도로의 움푹 팬 구멍에 차가 빠져 타이어가 심각하게 손상됨. 타이어 손상이 수리 불가능한 정도로 판단되어 교체 필요.

타이밍체인 교환

BMW 530d 2012 (ZF 8HP 자동변속기): 타이밍 체인 교체 후 2년간 지속된 문제. 특히 냉간 상태에서 1-2단 변속 시 심한 충격 발생. 저속 가속 시 1-2단 변속이 급격하게 일어남. 진단 소프트웨어상 오류 코드 없음. 최근 변속유 및 필터 교체 후 충격이 다소 완화됨. 현재도 1-2단, 2-3단 변속 느껴짐.

2010 VW Routan의 에어컨이 점진적으로 작동하지 않음. 냉매 누수로 인해 냉각 성능이 저하됨. 외부 온도 약 70°F, AC 구동 후 몇 분 경과 상태에서 측정: - 저압측: 25psi (낮음) - 고압측: 225psi (높음) 주변 온도 대비 저압측은 낮고 고압측은 높은 상태

2007 Explorer의 브레이크 페달이 엔진을 끈 직후 상당한 힘으로 위로 올라옴. 엔진 운전 중에는 브레이크가 완벽하게 작동함. 페달을 밟은 상태로 키를 끄면 페달이 저절로 위로 밀려남.

브레이크 패드 교환

2017 닛산 알티마 SR 2.5L - 1개월 전 뒷휠 그라인딩 음소 때문에 브레이크 패드 교체했으나 패드가 반정도만 닳아있었음. 새 패드 장착 후 브레이킹 시와 브레이킹하지 않을 때 심한 진동 발생. 오늘 로터 교체했으나 설치 전 로터를 청소하지 않음. 모든 진동이 사라졌으나 정차 직전에 문제 발생.

25년 된 BMW E36 트랜스미션을 야외에 보관했다가 회수함. 벨 하우징 내외부에 흰색 스케일 및 녹발생. 입력샤프트(input shaft)를 따라 심각한 녹이 발생하여 클러치가 스플라인을 따라 슬라이드되지 않음. 600-1200 그릿 사포와 WD-40로 청소 후 클러치는 수동으로 매끄럽게 움직이나 샤프트에 약간의 핏팅(pitting) 발생.

2016.5 Mazda CX5 AWD, 주행거리 1900마일, 우측 전륜 타이어 옆면에 못 펑크 발생. 타이어 교체점에서 옆면 손상으로 수리 불가능하며 교체 필요하다고 함. AWD 차량이므로 4개 타이어 모두 교체해야 한다고 주장.

2009 Toyota Camry. 1개월 전 알터네이터와 배터리 교체 후 간헐적인 계기판 표시 문제 발생. 주행 중 RPM과 속도계가 0으로 표시되고, 수온계는 저온을 나타냄. ABS와 브레이크 경고등이 점등됨. 10~20초 후 모든 지표가 정상으로 복귀. 발생 시점 예측 어려움. 브레이크, 엔진, 냉각수 모두 정상.
