I'm interested in learning more about the steps that can be taken to increase the performance of an engine. I'm curious how much displacement affects performance. For example, compare the following two engines: 4 cylinder, 1000cc 6 cylinder, 1500cc Is it possible to increase the displacement of the 4 cylinder engine to match the performance of the 6 cylinder, or are there other factors involved (i.e. how much do number of cylinders matter)? 2004 홀덴 아스트라(호주산) - 1단 기어 결합 부족으로 출발 시 어려움 발생. 기어 스틱을 수동으로 1단에 놓으면 Drive까지 기어 변속 가능하고 주행 중에는 문제없음. 완전히 정지했을 때만 수동으로 기어를 조작해야 함. 간헐적으로 1단 기어가 결합되지 않아 2단에서 출발해야 함. 약 3년 전 차량 컴퓨터 교체함.

아침에 시동을 걸 때 '스키드 서비스 필요(Skid Service Required)' 메시지가 나타나고, 조작하면 사라집니다. 또한 '이모빌라이저 매뉴얼 참조(Immbolizer See Manual)' 메시지도 표시됩니다. 최근에 갑자기 여러 이상한 메시지들이 나타나고 있습니다. 현재 630 CCA 배터리를 사용 중이며, 730 CCA 배터리로 교체하라는 조언을 받았습니다.

오일 디프스틱 튜브가 알터네이터 브래킷 제거 중에 빠져나왔고, 배기 시스템을 제거하지 않고는 다시 장착하고 볼트로 고정할 수 없습니다. 1.6HDi 디젤 엔진 밴을 테스트하고 싶은데, 튜브가 없으면 어떤 영향이 있을까요? 공기 누수가 생길까요?

타이밍벨트 교환

운전 중 차량 전방에서 매우 높은 음역대의 윙윙거리는 음이 들림. 엔진을 켠 상태에서 보닛을 열어 점검했을 때 소음이 발전기(얼터네이터) 주변, 캠벨트 근처에서 발생하는 것으로 보임. 최근에 소음이 더 커지고 있으며 약 3000마일 후 캠벨트 교체 예정. 휠을 돌려도 소음이 계속되므로 파워스티어링 펌프는 아닌 것으로 판단됨.

에어컨 가스 충전

유럽형 98 마즈다 626 2L GF 모델의 에어컨이 작동하지 않음 (중앙 벤트에서 냉기 측정 불가). 에어컨을 켜면 컴프레서 클러치가 작동하여 계속 유지됨. 클러치가 온/오프로 반복되지 않음. 유휴 상태에서 컴프레서에서 빠른 틱 소음 발생. 드라이어/리시버로 향하는 튜브들이 1800 RPM 5분 운전 후에도 주변 온도 상태. 증발기에서 나오는 튜브도 주변 온도. 사이트 글래스 확인 중

1997 쉐보레 서버번의 뒷브레이크 편마모 현상 발생. 여객석(우측) 드럼 브레이크 슈는 프론트 디스크 패드와 비슷한 마모도를 보이는데, 운전석(좌측) 리어 드럼 브레이크 슈는 약 2배 정도 더 마모되어 있음. 드럼은 시각적 홈이나 손상이 없고 매끄러운 상태.

저사용 차량에서 연료탱크를 가득 채워야 하는지에 대한 질문. 역사적으로는 금속 연료탱크의 녹 방지, 증발과 응축으로 인한 물 생성 방지를 위해 가득 채우는 것이 권장되었음. 현대 차량에서 이러한 이유들이 여전히 적용되는지 확인 필요. 저사용 차량(월 2-4회, 약 100마일 주행)의 경우 연료탱크를 1/4 이하로 유지하는 것이 좋은지에 대한 조언 요청.

BMW 760li M performance G12의 M 블루 브레이크 시스템에서 극한 모드(공무용, 러시 모드) 주행 시 제동 성능 저하. 브레이크 과열로 연기 발생 후 페달 낙하 현상 발생.

I learned to drive in small cars with no power steering. As such, I have a good feel for how much more effort is required to move the steering when stationary, as compared to moving. The ability to move the power-steering while stationary is useful - it is sometimes necessary when parking in a tight spot, and it is a useful test when evaluating a used vehicle for purchase.
