2001 스바루 레거시의 센터 디퍼렌셜(중앙 디퍼렌셜) 내부 부품이 축방향으로 이탈되어 정렬 위치를 잃었고, 알루미늄 하우징을 마모시키면서 미세한 알루미늄 입자가 기어유(트랜스미션 오일)에 섞여 있는 상태. 센터 디퍼렌셜은 트랜스미션 후방에 볼트로 고정된 알루미늄 하우징에 탑재되어 있으며 트랜스미션과 동일한 기어유를 공유하고 있음.

변속기 오일 교환

2001 F-150의 구형 트랜스미션 필러 튜브가 녹슬어서 손상됨. 새 필러 튜브 장착 후 트랜스미션 오일을 추가했으나, 언덕을 올라갈 때 트랜스미션이 여전히 슬립 발생. 오일 레벨이 과충전되었을 가능성 있음.

혼다 어코드 자동변속기 문제 - D3 기어만 정상 작동하고, 1단, 2단, D4 기어에서는 시속 30-40km를 넘지 못함. 다른 기어들에서 차량이 가속하지 않음.

2000 인피니티 i30, 주행거리 16만km. 기계사에서 구매했는데 유휴 공기 제어 밸브(IAC)와 점화 코일 1개를 교체한 상태. 구매 후 며칠 지나 가속 성능이 기대 이하로 떨어짐. 시속 50km 정도로 감속 중 트랜스미션이 슬립 발생했다가 속도를 낮추고 P→D로 변경 후 정상화됨.

1995 VW Golf 3 GSX 캐뷰레터 모델이 며칠 전 갑자기 시동이 꺼졌습니다. 엔진 크랭킹을 여러 번 시도했지만 시작되지 않습니다. 점화 표시등이 켜지지 않습니다. 모든 퓨즈를 확인했고 엔진 관련 No.18 퓨즈도 정상입니다. 여분의 스파크 플러그로 점화를 확인했지만 스파크가 없습니다.

새 타이어 장착 후 약 1주일 뒤 장거리 주행 중 TPMS에서 저압 경고 발생. 특정 타이어에서 누기 확인되었으나 못이나 손상 부위를 발견할 수 없음. 34 PSI로 충압 후 약 20마일 주행하면 25 PSI로 감소하고, 이후 20~30마일마다 반복적으로 압력 저하 발생.

2003 포드 포커스(약 200,000마일, 순정 알루미늄 휠)에 새 타이어 4개를 장착한 후 에어 누수 문제 발생. 장착 후 1주일 뒤 62마일 출근길에서 다른 타이어가 펑크되어 빠르게 공기가 빠짐. 주행 가능하지만 2회 이상 공기 주입 필요.

타이어 내측 립(비드 안쪽의 추가 러버 부분, 비드 자체 제외)에 손상이 있음. 이미지에서 보이는 손상. 타이어는 공기를 정상적으로 유지하고 있음. 런플랫 타이어로 더 경직된 상태. 매년 타이어 장착/분리할 때 이런 손상이 일반적인지 묻는 상황.

르노 캉고(2001-2010) 엔진룸에서 빨간 고무 캡이 덮인 장치 발견. 내부에 톱니 모양으로 맞물린 두 개의 금속판과 스프링이 있음. 펜처럼 느껴지며 누를 수만 있고 튀어나오지 않음. 모터 아래쪽으로 연결된 얇은 케이블이 다른 케이블들과 함께 연결되어 있음. 수동으로 재활성화할 수 있는 퓨즈나 안전 스위치로 추정됨.
