증상
르노 캉고(2001-2010) 엔진룸에서 빨간 고무 캡이 덮인 장치 발견. 내부에 톱니 모양으로 맞물린 두 개의 금속판과 스프링이 있음. 펜처럼 느껴지며 누를 수만 있고 튀어나오지 않음. 모터 아래쪽으로 연결된 얇은 케이블이 다른 케이블들과 함께 연결되어 있음. 수동으로 재활성화할 수 있는 퓨즈나 안전 스위치로 추정됨.
처리 내용
이것은 관성 차단 스위치(Inertial Cut Out Switch)입니다. 충돌 시 자동으로 꺼져서 연료 펌프와 엔진을 차단합니다. 안전벨트처럼 관성을 이용하여 작동합니다. 과거 전동 연료 펌프가 ECU로 제어되지 않던 시대 휘발유 자동차와 일부 디젤 차량에 매우 흔했습니다. 충돌 시 연료 라인이 끊어져도 화재 위험을 방지하고 엔진이 꺼지지 않으면 강제로 차단하는 역할을 합니다. 재설정은 빨간 캡을 눌러서만 가능합니다. 현대 자동차는 에어백 센서가 충돌을 감지하고 ECU나 CAN 버스를 통해 연료 펌프 차단 신호를 보냅니다. 일부 제조사는 ECU 제어 여부와 관계없이 백업용으로 또는 에어백 ECU와 엔진 ECU의 통신이 없을 때를 대비해 여전히 사용합니다.
