Having drifted in and out of PH for a few years, and particularly enjoyed perusing Readers' Cars threads - 1275GT's Rover SD1, theadman's Facel Vega, and AndrewCrown's Silver Shadow being particular highlights - I thought I'd pop this in as a bit of a curio.I had seen this at an auction a couple of years ago but only got round to buying it last summer. It is, perhaps slightly eccentrically, my only car. I did have other cars, although I've never had anything made after 1995, but I don't need a daily driver and I found running even a small "fleet" too much of a faff to be enjoyable. So, I have

I got the stereo fitted yesterday afternoon and spent the rest of the day driving around - its a great little car.Stereo fitted, the illumination isn't too far off the colour of the rest of the dash. I bought my green Roadster in May 2016 for £922 (Ebay), and I quickly sold the hardtop for £350.I bought my yellow Roadster in February 2025, for £2,200.In the adverts it only showeed it with the hood down and cloth seats.When I went to collect it (another Ebay purchase) it had leather seats and a hardtop.I got home and looked up the hardtops on Ebay and couldn't quite believe it!Now I'm not sure whether to hang on to it, it's a nice thing to have and a nice thing to keep with the car, or have myself an almost half price car!

Like the subject says - what's your funniest car mishap?Mine is as follows:1) Kids leave light on in car which drains the battery2) Battery is in the boot3) As there is no battery, central locking is not working so used key in fob to open driver door (curiously, unlocking any of the other doors didn't work even when trying from the inside)4) Enter through driver's door5) Reach over the driver's seat to drop the rear seats to access the boot6) Empty the entire boot through the driver's door (this included two kids' bicycles and an assortment of other random crap such as pump, toolkit, bucket an
