Hello everyone! Remember me? Well, the faithful old M5 is still here and has had almost another year of fun pass under its wheels since the last update. To be honest, there’s not been a massive amount to report really, but I like to keep this thread updated from time-to-time As is becoming something of an annual tradition, I fitted the roofrack and took the M5 to pick up a Christmas tree late last year (as is the usual time of year to do these things, I understand). No point in me saying it's a bit pricey anymore because everything has gone or going that way. Does look a mighty fine thing though.

6개월 전 씰 고장으로 인한 오일 누수가 발생했었고(과다 오일 레벨이 원인), 현재 누수는 해결되었으나 주행거리에 따라 점진적인 오일 소비 발생. 최근 3개월간 1000km당 약 1리터 이하의 오일 소비. 사용 환경 기온 45°C 이상에서 사용설명서 권장 10w30 오일 사용 중. PCV에서 오일 증기 발생. 스파크플러그 교체 시 오일 습윤 확인. 400km 연속 주행 시에는 오일 소비가 없었으나, 주행 패턴에 따라 소비 발생 차이 있음.

I had one almost identical to this, except it was a 3 door. I loved it, but tax costs and lack of use meant it had to go last year. It remains one of my favourite cars, not least because of that engine but it handled really well too.

So for the last 3 years I've had my first electric car, its fast 0 to 60 in 3.7 and I'm conscious driving it has changed my driving style/behaviours , for example on one hand it makes me feel safer having the extra power, eg joining onto a motorway , pulling away from roundabouts . However is also makes me more frustrated at slower drivers and more likely to overtake , take a car doing 25 in a 30 for example.As I know I can overtake fairly easy , I'm begining to wonder if driving cars like this can make you a worse driver. I have a similar car 2005 SL350 3.7 5 speed auto. Probably the "safest" R230 to put your money into. Bought mine in Feb 2025 Black with pano roof, upgraded hi-fi with carplay and lowish £445 road tax. less than 80k miles and full service history for double the shed price.They are a great car. I had at the time an R107 500SL and a R129 SL320, still have the R107 but the R230 drives much better than an R129 IMHO and so I sold the 129.I would pull up a bit more cash and buy a better car fully functioning rather than this one as stated above.
