2000 Mazda Milenia S Millennium edition에서 약 20분 주행 후 엔진이 2500 RPM 이상으로 회전하지 않음. 가속 페달을 끝까지 밟아도 2500 RPM을 넘지 않으며, 전자적으로 제한되는 것처럼 느껴짐. 시동 후 처음 20분 정도는 정상 주행되고 기계적 결함은 없는 것으로 보임.

2001 Acura TL에서 핸들이 중립 위치에 있을 때 좌우로 약간만 꺾을 때만 삐걱거리는 소음 발생. 주차 상태에서 차의 앞쪽 좌측에 체중을 실으면 소음 재현 가능. 핸들을 360도 회전시키고 체중을 실으면 소음이 나지 않음. 추운 기후에서 주로 발생하는 것으로 보임.

새 차량이라 클러치 바이트 포인트가 높아서 가끔 엔진이 꺼짐. 엔진 스톨이 차량에 손상을 주는지 우려됨.

BMW E46 3-Series M3(S54B32)와 330(M54B30) 엔진 비교 시 같은 NA 인라인 식스 실린더이고 VANOS를 모두 사용하는데도 출력 차이가 큼 (M54: ~230HP vs S54: ~340HP). 배기량 차이(3.0L vs 3.2L)로는 설명할 수 없는 큰 성능 차이의 원인이 무엇인지 궁금함.

신호등에서 대기 중 뉴트럴 상태에서 엔진 회전수가 약 1000 RPM으로 유지되다가 주기적으로(분당 약 3회) 500 RPM으로 떨어졌다가 1200 RPM까지 올라갔다가 다시 천천히 1000 RPM으로 내려감. 이 현상이 1~2초 정도 지속됨.

오버드라이브 피스톤을 고정하는 락링을 제거할 수 없음. 락링 플라이어를 사용할 수 있는 그립 포인트가 없고, 링의 갭에서는 링을 확장만 할 수 있어서 도움이 되지 않음. 타이어를 사용하면 금속이 부드러워서 손상될 우려가 있음.

Holy crap. I thought it was just me being impatient until earlier this week when I was driving in a 30 down an empty road. In front of me were 6 or 7 cars all doing about 18-23mph. WTF. I realised it wasn't just me that was annoyed with her because one by one we ended up overtaking her. I've never seen anyone being overtaken by so many people in one go.But yes, it seems that too often I'll encounter someone doing 10-20% under the speed limit. 2001 Toyota Corolla에서 에어컨 시스템을 켤 때 심한 악취가 난다. 온라인 조사에 따르면 2001년형에는 캐빈 에어필터가 없다. 글로브박스를 제거할 수 없어 뒤쪽을 확인할 수 없다.

2002 GMC Envoy의 라디에이터와 보조 물통에서 오일이 발견됨. 엔진 오일량은 정상이고 물이나 부동액이 섞여있지 않음. 정기적인 오일 교환 중이며 오일 압력은 정상. 냉각수 온도는 거의 정상이고 과열되지 않음. 6번 기통 관련 내용(문장 미완성).

1997 Toyota Corolla가 시동이 안 걸리는 문제 발생. 1-2일 운전하지 않으면 시동이 걸리지 않음. 시동을 걸 때 스티어링 휠을 좌우로 1/4 정도 꺾으면서(12시에서 9시 방향으로) 키를 돌려야 시동이 걸림. 엔진오일, 오일필터 신규 교환, 오일량 정상. 배터리는 수년 된 것으로 양호 상태, 수액 보충함. 파워스티어링 오일도 양호할 것으로 예상. 원래 달려있는 펌프 사용 중. 냉각수 확인 중.

냉랭한 날씨 이후 냉각수 저수지에서 냉각수 전부 소진. 냉각수 충전 후 변속기 이상 증상 발생 - 기어가 너무 빠르게 전환되고, 속도계가 실제 속도(30-40mph)보다 높게 표시(70-80mph). RPM은 2000으로 유지되며 가속 시에만 상승. 마지막 기어에서만 느린 속도 유지 가능.

2013 토요타 코롤라 에어컨 드레인 호스에 곰팡이가 생김. 드레인 호스 끝을 에어나 펜으로 청소할 수 있지만, 호스 내부의 곰팡이를 제거하는 방법을 알고 싶음. 안전한 화학약품과 드레인 호스 투입 지점이 있는지, 아니면 호스 교체가 필요한지 궁금함.
