Not much of this car was factory paint anyway as the bonnet, scuttle, offside door and rear quarter and the boot lid had all been repainted due to lacquer peel! The whole car will now be the same shade of red, which is nice. Yeah, red doesn't blend nicely with pre-existing paint. I had a Mk4 Ford Escort as my first car and that was various shades of red/orange! Should look spot on when it's done.

Seems good condition & obvious curio out of all the hatches of the time.Treat it like a mini exotic GT car rather than a Type R rival & I recckon it fits the brief.Price wise given the scarcity of these is about correct for the right enthusiast. Should get some money off as well I would argue.
