You can break that out and calculate that the G50 M350 has a WLTP range of 492 miles while producing a peak of 443hp. The NA0 i3 50 has a WLTP range of 560 miles and peak power of 469hp. Kind of crazy that in 15 years BMW have gone from an almost prototype electric car with 60-80 miles of range to usurping their bread and butter volume carStill well behind our 2024 X5 40d at around an 800 mile range though, so they're still going backwards sadly in my view. A 320d/330d/335d will also have a better range than an electric 3 series as well. So going backwards is the new forwards it seems nowadays, and folk are still happy to accept that for some reason. Back in the days of proper BMWs with proper 6 cyinder petrol engines my E90 330 would do around 30mpg and, I think, had a 13.5 gallon tank. It's real world range was around 300/320 miles and no one minded that all. The rise of rattly old diesels increased the range of cars of course, but I don't ever remember the range being pushed as a benefit of diesel. It was all about the economy and tax benefits - not exciting reasons to choose any car, and indeed people looked down on them as not being drivers cars... Then the 'performance' diesel became a thing and we all ignored the noise and the smell, and for the 535d that followed my 330i it was all about how much power/quick it was. Range was never mentioned. Now with the wonderful world of electric propulsion you can have more torque and power than a rattly old diesel, and a longer range, more power and more torque than in the smooth petrol. But suddenly the range of a diesel is a key benefit. Even though in my experience of multiple trips to the south of france /italy in petrol, diesel and EVs over many years the journey time is more affected by route choice, traffic, coffee and food breaks that it is

Kudos to the original owner.

Transverse engine, front wheel drive, rubber cone suspension? We want our inline, rear drive, leaf sprung that we're used to.It's just gopping. It's taken the ugly bits from the current one (particularly the F&R lights) and made them even worse. Shame, as everything up to and including the F30 looked great. Even the Bangle ones were decent-looking.If you want a good-looking Bimmer the last one is the G30 5 Se

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
