증상
마즈다 미아타를 전기차로 개조하려고 함. 엔진과 기어박스를 제거하고 직구동 방식으로 변경할 계획. 사용할 모터가 표준 미아타 모터 대비 토크가 2배인데, 이렇게 높은 토크가 차량에 손상을 입힐 수 있는지 확인 필요. 개조 전에 고려해야 할 다른 문제점과 이를 방지하는 방법이 있는지 궁금함.
처리 내용
기존 휘발유 엔진을 간단히 전기 모터로 교체하면 기어박스가 그 토크를 견디지 못해 빠르게 손상될 것임. 기어박스가 견딜 수 있다고 해도 최적의 방법이 아님. 전기 모터는 내연기관과 완전히 다른 토크 곡선을 가지므로 어차피 기어박스를 교체해야 함. 기어박스의 기본 목적은 내연기관의 좁은 토크 곡선을 도로 속도 전체 범위에서 사용 가능하도록 변환하는 것임. 이론상 적절한 전기 모터는 기어박스가 전혀 필요 없음 (기차에 사용되는 모터들은 보통 차축에 직구동 또는 고정 기어 방식으로 연결됨). 전기차 개조 시에는 기존 엔진과 기어박스를 제거하고 적절한 모터를 차동장치 입력축에 연결하되, 최종단에만 차동장치를 유지하여 단일 모터만으로 구동하는 것이 권장됨.

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day so in order to save money and take the little 4 month old Mazda for a spin, I decided to return my wrong prescription glasses to the factory in Amersham by hand. Oh how I now regret that Funny thing is I'm normally naughty in the 2 seater but I didn't go crazy on that bit of the M3 from Sunbury to the M25 junction. Enjoyed sitting at the limit and then the 60mph limits, followed by the 40mph limits. A mile from the turning west
