That kind of killed it for me.Imports are £360UK hatches are 2.5s and you don t want those not without an expensive forged rebuild anyway.are the standard 2.5 engine unreliable? Forged seems a long way to go or is this for tuning?
At the start of the summer I needed a new a watch for work. Fed up of having to constantly charge my Garmin and becoming increasingly aware of how much it persistently nudged me towards my phone, I bought a Casio. I love it. It's a watch - it does watch stuff. It tells me the time, date and, should you be near something needing timed, you can time it. It charges via the sun. There's probably a fancy word for de-teching yourself but that's kind of what the R205 feels like too.My old Golf R and RS300 were undoubtedly quicker cars, but I don't care. Neither of them prompted the fissions of joy the 15 year-old Impreza is mustering. I got it aligned a week or so after picking it up as it was distinctly crabby. I made sure to consult the true keepers of the faith at TypeRA.com who confirmed that the R205's came with a different set up to match their custom STi dampers and suspension tweaks. The drive home was nothing short of incredible with the car finally able to deploy its true broken-asphalt prowess. I also took the last of the warm(ish) days of the year to carefully coat the underside and arches with Bilt Hamber Dynax. I've used it before, on my old GC8's, and found it to be an amazing product, easy to work with at a wholly reasonable price. I also changed the engine oil to some new high grade Millers and swapped out the filter for a RCM number. I've duct taped over the JDM head unit which constantly blinks between black and white displays and generally does my head in. I thought it would be one of the first things I'd sort but, as shonky as it sounds, my USB speaker in the cup holder and phone on a magnetic mount set up is still actually fine. For now at least.I maybe should have clarified in the original post that I am a long-time Impreza nerd and my big draw towards the R205 was that I always suspected that it'd be the sweet spot between the clunky diffy connection of the GC8 and the modern world, and I was bang on. It's a driving experience dominated by the drive

It's down to me where she ends up and I get to learn spanners! I do wonder what she will be like when all the jobs are done! Is this Mrs Romeford or Francesca you’re now referring to? …….

Next up, we can't go past Switzerland without hitting some passes:https://maps.app.goo.gl/UdFDabEdEW6LpAdr8We leave Bolzano and suck up single lane Italian life. There are heaps of Apple orchards as we go further up into the mountains with some funny little tractors pulling apple carts going the other direction. We laugh. Then a less funny little tractor pulling apples pulls out in front of us and proceeds to do 30kph and it's way to busy to get past him. We don't laugh. Up the top of whatever traffic clogged pass this is there's the sight we've come for. "Luigi, you gonna be in a lotta troubl
