증상
2004 Honda Civic EX에서 외부 온도가 90도 이상일 때 에어컨에서 뜨거운 바람이 나옴. 에어컨 클러치는 작동 중이고 냉각팬도 모두 정상 작동 중. 냉매 레벨이 온도에 따라 변함 - 고온에서는 적색(경고), 중간 온도에서는 황색(경고), 저온에서는 청색(정상). 저녁에 날씨가 시원할 때는 에어컨이 완벽하게 작동함.
처리 내용
유사한 증상이 발생했을 때 해결 방법: OBD 어댑터로 확인한 결과 고온 날씨에서 냉각수 온도가 100°C를 초과했음. 원인은 에어컨 라디에이터와 엔진 라디에이터 사이에 쌓인 마른 풀과 먼지였음. 이것이 고온 날씨에서 냉각 시스템에 부담을 줌. 간단한 작업이므로 다른 비용이 많이 드는 점검을 하기 전에 먼저 이 부분을 확인할 것을 권장함.

For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car. re. the refrigerant - If you take the car to Quik-Fit they will empty the system for free (probably best to ring first to check but I've done it on a few cars..). This is actually a requirement if you work on the AC system of a car as the gas is pretty nasty for you and the environment.Once that's done it's pretty simple, just nuts n bolts but do fit a replacement drier though if you're opening the system up.
