2006 4Runner 이후 여러 차량에서 브레이크 우들링(brake wobble) 발생. 2012 Toyota Sequoia는 지난해 11월 브레이크와 로터 교체 후 고속도로 정지 시 펄싱(pulsing) 현상 발생. 11개월 후 브레이크 패드가 완전히 닳음.
처리 내용
2천분의 1인치(약 0.05mm) 정도의 편차는 무시할 수 있는 수준. 럭 너트는 토크 스펙에 맞춰 균등하게 조일 것(편차보다 균등 토크가 중요). 완벽한 로터 런아웃(runout) 제거는 차량 장착 상태에서 로터를 깎는 전용 기계가 필요한데, 가격이 매우 비싸므로 실용적이지 않음. 고품질 신품 로터가 저렴하게 나오므로 교체 권장. 로터 워핑(warp)을 깎아내는 것은 기술이 필요하고 시간이 오래 걸려 비용 대비 효율이 떨어지므로 특수한 경우 외에는 권장하지 않음.
