Without knowing the price per litre, this (surely) has to be a positive development?The UK (and European) Governments need to have a sliding methodology towards phasing our fossil fuels entirely. This seems, on the face of it, a means to do just that, that will (should) also gain support from petrolheads.

Loving the thread op. I’ve had four Saabs and like most people, loved them. I first had one as a company car, a 2.0 Aero same colour as the one above. I then got another grey convertible before switching jobs where I was give a BMW company car until I could opt out and take a car allowance and then I got myself my own SaabThis was my third, a 93 V6 Aero Sportwagon. Someone rear ended it in Bath and wrote it off after a year or so , I was gutted.I replaced it with this,same V6 but a vert. The front tyres on my car (Pirelli Cinturato P6) have the following DOT code (emphasis mine) DOT 93 E0 M061 What does "M061" mean? It doesn't seem to tell me the date of manufacture as should be expected from the last 4 digits for tyres made after 2000. How do I tell when they were made? I don't remember when these tyres were fitted, but the (front wheel drive) car was manufactured in 2012 and I've had the car since 2013.
