증상
스트럿과 마운트 근처에 심한 녹이 발생했으며, 직접 교체를 고려 중. 서비스 매뉴얼 확인 시 2가지 타입의 스트럿 마운트가 있고, 딜러에서 VIN을 제공해도 어떤 타입이 필요한지 시스템에서 알려주지 않음. 실제로 쇼크 업소버를 분해하지 않고도 어떤 타입인지 구분할 수 있는 방법이 필요함. Toyota Parts Direct 다이어그램에서 Type A와 Type B가 있으며, 앞쪽 볼트 근처에 홀이 있어 Type B로 보임.
처리 내용
홀의 오프셋이 어떤 타입인지 판단하는 핵심. Type A는 홀이 단일 볼트 쪽(또는 포인트 쪽)으로 오프셋되어 있고, Type B는 더블 볼트 쪽(또는 플랫 쪽)으로 오프셋됨. Type B의 홀은 두 볼트의 교집합 부분에 위치. 홀이 이 영역 근처에 없으면 Type A. 스트럿을 꺼내지 않고도 마운트 상단을 보면 타입 구분 가능.
