증상

1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, 4.6L V8, 220,000마일. 처음에 점검 엔진 경고등이 켜졌고 P0174 코드(뱅크2 과희박) 발생. 에어컨 고장, 연료필터 교체, 튠업을 모두 수행했으나 경고등이 약 2시간 주행 후 다시 점등. 재진단 결과 MAP센서 불량으로 진단됨.

처리 내용

다른 정비소를 찾을 것을 강력히 권장함. 현재 정비소는 계속 부품만 교체하고 있음. P0174 코드는 범위가 넓어서 산소센서 이전의 모든 부품이 원인일 수 있음. 다음 순서대로 점검: 1) O2 센서 - 신뢰할 수 있는 OBD2 리더로 전압값 확인. 정상 범위면 다음 진단으로, 아니면 브레이크 클리너로 청소 후 재테스트. 2) 서비스 매뉴얼을 구입하여 정비사가 올바른 진단 절차를 따르는지 확인할 것. 정비사에게 'MAP센서가 나쁘다고 어떻게 판단했는가?'라고 물어보고 육안 손상 확인, 회로 테스트 등 논리적 증거를 요구할 것.

I really like it! I don't mind the wheels but why the stretched tyres, unless that's the only way to get them inside the arches?Fond memories of old Fiestas as my Mum only ever bought one new car, a Fiesta 1100S in 1979 but she had a few more including a 1985 1.1 Ghia and I'm pretty sure they both had a rev counter.Given the detail that has gone into this build it doesn't look dear for an under the radar Fast Ford.
