You know them cars you lusted after once but now don't really do too much for you.The R129 SL Mercedes is one that springs to mind for me.

Anyway, he decides to trade up to a Golf R, I say I will buy the ST and then sell it so he has the money for the new car.Woke up one morning and thought "sod it, I am selling the BMW, not the Fiesta", which is what I did, out of the box it is just a better package and I swear I could carry more speed down the local lanes, the Fiesta got better the faster you went, the BMW felt like it fell apart and was a few bumps behind what was happening. Still got the ST.M135i was exactly how you said, snappy being turbocharged, RWD with no LSD and automatic, it would slide but it never felt natural or graceful, no finesse to it, like driving through a greasy window, there is a good car in there but they, I think, hamstrung it on purpose so as not to challenge actual the M cars.Classed as a hot hatch, more a fast, downsized luxo barge. I should have got a manual M140i and done the LSD and suspension stuff it needs, suspect would still have it, so many just seem to spend 2 grand on tuning for 500 odd bhp and wonder why they are in a hed
