I bought a V8, new, in 2022. At that time, a full tank cost me about £80. it now costs about £120. That gives me 250-300 miles. I don't really give a fk, but I'm not ignorant to the fact that it costs me 50% more, which is approaching £200 per month MORE. I also know that if my 550bhp V8 was electric, it would cost a fifth as much, maybe less, and probably be more powerful, and faster. Again, I don't really give a fk. I don't want an electric car. I DO want, REALLY fkING WANT the noise of the V8 every time a touch the throttle. But I'm also not 'dick' enough to pretend that the economics are immaterial/insignificant.
