Almost everyone lives in a few cities and very rarely leaves them, off road parking widely available. For the outback, they'll continue to sell Land Cruiser 70 series for ever. When I was in Perth, the only place outside Perth that we regularly drove to was Margaret River, which would be well in most EV range, and we would normally stop for lunch half way, which would make it do-able with 'urban' EV ranges.Perfect also for those old folks who escape Melbourne in their so-called "winter" and go to, say, Gold Coast for a few weeks/months. 2 or 3 day drive, rapid charge on lunch/pee stops and overnight at a motel. How's the charger network on the east coast route these days? I haven't been there since 2018, so hopefully there is one now as there wasn't back then?
