증상
2004 Cavalier, 120K마일. 겨울철에만 간헐적으로 ABS 고장 발생. 바퀴 미끄러짐 상황에서 주로 발생하며, 동시에 'Low Trak' 경고등도 점등. 이전 겨울들과 운전 패턴이나 타이어 상태가 다르지 않음. 타이어 교체(앞뒤 위치 변경)로도 증상 변화 없음. 서스펜션 상태는 양호.
처리 내용
ABS 모듈의 고장으로 보임. 바퀴 잠김을 감지한 후 ABS가 즉시 실패 모드로 진입하는 것으로 판단됨. 휠 센서나 베어링 불량이라면 ABS 오동작과 페달 울림이 동반되어야 하는데, 현증상은 ABS ECU가 바퀴 잠김을 감지하고 ABS 작동을 시도하지만 ABS 밸브 바디나 펌프 메커니즘이 정상 작동하지 않아 ABS 시스템 전체가 실패하는 것으로 추정됨. ABS 모듈과 밸브 어셈블리 진단 필요.

트랙 이벤트 중 엔진 오일을 규정량보다 1쿼트 추가하고, 3시간 거리의 트랙에서 돌아오는 동안 그 초과분을 빼지 않고 운전하려고 함
