증상
2012 혼다 시빅 EX (4기통 자동변속기, 5단): 여름철 습도 높은 날씨(70-85°F)에서 12-14시간 이상 시동 꺼진 후 아침에 시동 걸 때 평소보다 현저히 오래 걸림. 겨울 극저온에서는 시동 지연 없음. 엔진 경고등 켜진 적 없음. 28,000km 주행, 정기점검 중.
처리 내용
연료 공급 문제로 보임. 시동 꺼진 상태에서 몇 시간이 경과하면 연료 압력 레귤레이터가 연료 레일의 압력을 유지하지 못하는 증상으로 추정됨. 이로 인해 콜드 스타트 시 크랭킹이 더 많이 필요하고, 크랭킹 중 일시적 멈춤(half-second pause) 발생 가능. 연료 분사가 시작되지 않으면서 배터리 방전, 스타터 발열, 고압축점 도달이 동시에 발생하기 때문. 추가 크랭킹 후 충분한 연료가 분사되면 정상 시동. 연료 압력 레귤레이터 점검 및 연료 압력 테스트 권장.

For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car.
