증상
두 번째 에어컨 재충전 후 냉매 누수 의심. 스탑리크 및 형광염료를 넣고 재충전함. UV 손전등으로 확인 결과 H 서비스 밸브(고압 밸브) 주변에 초록색 형광염료가 상당량 발견됨. 정비소에서 새 콘덴서 교체 견적(£360) 제시.
처리 내용
Schrader 밸브(서비스 밸브 코어)일 가능성 높음. 교체 비용은 저렴하지만 R-134 냉매 회수 시 환경규제 준수 필요 (전용 장비로 회수해야 함, 대기 배출 불가). 먼저 밸브 캡을 제거해서 미세한 누기음이 나는지 확인 가능 (밸브 손상 신호). 밸브 코어 자체는 분해하지 말 것. UV 손전등으로 콘덴서(라디에이터 앞쪽) 전면 및 후면을 철저히 검사 - 형광염료 흔적 발견 시 새 콘덴서 필요. 콘덴서 물리적 손상도 확인 (핀 일부 손상은 괜찮으나 심각한 손상은 교체 필요). 다른 정비소에서 2차 의견 청취 권장 - 사진 제시하기.

For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car. re. the refrigerant - If you take the car to Quik-Fit they will empty the system for free (probably best to ring first to check but I've done it on a few cars..). This is actually a requirement if you work on the AC system of a car as the gas is pretty nasty for you and the environment.Once that's done it's pretty simple, just nuts n bolts but do fit a replacement drier though if you're opening the system up.
