Fit the hatch glass to a coupe and it never quite fits properly with lots of wind noise.

Only had mine for 7 years and 100k miles. I had a Peter Maiden exhaust on and the engine went from 2.0 -> 2.2 -> 2.4 over time I did look at the GT86 years later but just didn t gel with it and found the engine a bit disappointing. Plus I have other stuff now too! I worked for Peter for 4-5 months in late '85- early '86.An "interesting" character ...Yes, I think most of the time I dealt with Stuart when I pitched up at the place ( Bodymoor Green Farm )I worked with him when he had the shop on Warwick road in Tyseley. He'd just bought Bodymoor Green Farm, Stuart Nichols was my replacement.Stuart was much more Peter's cup of tea - Corporate, probably did what he was told, professional and lacking my rebellious streak ...I got to know Peter through my ownership of my Manta 1.9 SR, when I bought a complete exhaust, springs, cam etc etc off him.We got on famously, so much so he offered me a job. It all went downhill from thereon ...It culminated in me arriving at work on a Monday morning to find Peter in one of his "moods" (looking back now, I realise he was definitely on the spectrum) the "moods" normally meant a lack of conversation, and this Monday morning mood was no different. At about midday, he came off the phone to a customer and immediately asked where I'd been on Saturday morning. Somewhat taken aback, I replied I'd been around at a mates helping him remove the engine from his car, to which he replied, I'd agreed to go into work at PMC (I hadn't) I said I'd agreed no such thing, and that if I had agreed to that, I'd have been at PMC. He responded that he didn't think that this was going to work, and that I should leave (I think the whole lack of attendance on Saturday morning "thing" was just a planned ruse/excuse to sack me) to which I responded "I think you're right Peter", picked up my few th

It's down to me where she ends up and I get to learn spanners! I do wonder what she will be like when all the jobs are done! Is this Mrs Romeford or Francesca you’re now referring to? …….

Glad you're ok, and a warm welcome to the 'Small car vs Mercedes 4x4' club. Membership is now 2 of us . I was in my Smart Fortwo and got rear ended by a Mercedes ML. Hopefully the Twizy is fixable.

Next up, we can't go past Switzerland without hitting some passes:https://maps.app.goo.gl/UdFDabEdEW6LpAdr8We leave Bolzano and suck up single lane Italian life. There are heaps of Apple orchards as we go further up into the mountains with some funny little tractors pulling apple carts going the other direction. We laugh. Then a less funny little tractor pulling apples pulls out in front of us and proceeds to do 30kph and it's way to busy to get past him. We don't laugh. Up the top of whatever traffic clogged pass this is there's the sight we've come for. "Luigi, you gonna be in a lotta troubl
