처리 내용
스트레이트 파이프 장착 시 촉매변환기가 완전히 제거되므로 대부분의 지역에서 배출가스 검사에 불합격하게 됩니다. 도로주행 차량으로는 현실적으로 운영 불가능합니다. 대안으로 고유량 스포츠 촉매변환기(인렛, 드라이버측 아웃렛, 승객측 아웃렛 3개)를 장착하면 배기음도 개선되고 배출가스 검사를 통과할 수 있습니다. 비용은 약 $2,000 이상 예상됩니다.

5년 전에 정비했던 차량인데 당시에 실린더 2번 캠과 리프터가 스핀되어 캠샤프트가 손상되었습니다. 이후 2014년형 캠샤프트를 설치했습니다.
2019 Dodge Ram 5.7 Hemi, 100,000km 근처. 리만팩처된 엔진 설치 후(리프터 롤러 실패로 인해 - 이 차량의 흔한 문제, 얇은 오일과 오일링 시스템 설계 결함으로 인한 것으로 추정). 엔진 반환 1일 후 트랜스미션 라인이 분리되어 대량의 트랜스미션 액상유 누출. 클립이 실패했거나 느슨해진 것으로 추정.

2019 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI, 100km 미만. 브레이크 작업 후 시운전 중 풀 스로틀로 0-70mph까지 한 번 가속 후 발생. 엔진 미스파이어 시작, 체크 엔진 라이트 깜박임. 리듬컬한 탭탭탭 소리 발생(collapsed lifter 유사음). 2/3 스로틀 이상에서만 발생, 정상 주행 시에는 미스만 있고 해머링음 없음.
