Hmmmmm...Caterham 7 - a Supersprint, crossflow Ford engine, built by Oselli. The car was an ex-hillclimber, and needed some suspension sorting for road use, but it was a LOT of fun, at least up to about 70mph, because it had the long "flared" front wings, and the steering went worryingly light at anything above that. The rear suspension was by way of a live axle from a Morris Ital, but the traditional A-Frame had been dispensed with, and the car had trailing arms and a Panhard rod setup, with adjustable dampers and adjustable spring platforms. I bought it with the race springs in place, but changed the rears for "road" spec, and kept the race springs on the front. The anti-roll bars were also adjustable, so you can imagine the permutations I went through to make it behave on the road.Honda S2000 - 2005 car, so it had the "updated" suspension and the facelift. I had a set of Ohlins suspension fitted, on the advice of Tom at TGM, who set it up for me. That engine and gearbox were something else. Probably the car that I would buy back if I had the chance.VW Golf R - my current car, 333bhp with the Performance Pack, quite the ultimate Golf for everyday use. Not that I use it every day. Reserves: Mk 1 Golf GTI. I've had about four of them, all modified (suspension, brakes, wheels and tyres). Lovely chassis, light weight, just enough power.I do like a fast Golf.

2005 VW Golf 1.4 5-door hatchback manual. I keep having to get my car jump started everyday after only a few hours of being parked. When I turn the key, it just does a "click, click, click" noise continuously. When I unlock the car, the front lights come on as normal and the inside lights come on. When I turn the key, the dash lights up as normal. But, the car won't start without a jump start. I replaced the battery, it's brand new. Any ideas what it could be?

2011 유럽형 VW 골프 Mk6 Variant, 2.0 TDI 엔진 (CFHC 엔진 코드, Euro 5 배출가스 기준, DPF 장착, AdBlue 미장착, 4Motion 미장착)에 약 200,000km 주행. 지난 5년간 5W-30 엔진오일 사용해옴. 백야드 정비사가 높은 주행거리를 이유로 5W-40으로 변경할 것을 권장함. 변경해도 장기적으로 엔진에 부정적 영향이 없는지, 올바른 결정인지 확인 필요.

정기점검1.5 eTSI

이틀간 차고에 주차한 후 시동을 걸려고 했으나 시작이 안 됨. 엔진이 몇 번 컥거렸지만 완전히 시동이 걸리지 않음. 주행 휠 기호가 점등되어 있음. 비디오 영상에서 보이는 현상: 엔진이 회전하지 않고 스타터가 딸깍거리는 소리만 남.

2000 Honda Civic VTi 쿠페. 엔진오일을 보충한 후 10마일 주행했다가 정차 후 귀로에 올랐고, 1주일 동안 주차해둔 상태였음. 복귀했을 때 보닛이 약간 열려있었고(래치로 열 때처럼 완전히 열리지 않음) 엔진오일 필러캡이 없어짐. 오일 보충 후 캡을 덮지 않았을 가능성이 있지만, 주행 중에 보닛이 튀어오르지 않았음. 오일이 분출될 것으로 예상했으나 디프스틱 확인 결과... (문장 미완성)
