I've noticed one front wheel on my car isn't centered where it should sit, and so it has a slight pull in that direction. Attached is a diagram of what I mean - what do you reckon could be the problem? Edit. Aprox 1 year ago I had that side's Shock Mounts, suspension arm, axle boot and wheel bearing replaced, along with both shock absorbers, but I don't know if that could be related, given it was so long ago. EDIT2: We're talking about a 2009 Toyota Yaris HB.
There are a few front suspension issues that would be suspect, but my best guess would be the control arm bushings. When they go bad and break, the entire control arm that holds the wheel in place can shift. This is often accompanied by a lot of clunking noises going over bumps etc. Of course if you ran into a curb or similar, something could be bent or broken. If you're sure there hasn't been any impact, you'll have to start looking at suspension parts. Jack up that wheel and pull on it and try to move it around. It shouldn't move, and if it does, the movement will help point you to the loose pieces.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on a specific shifting issue with my 2007 Toyota Auris 1.4 D4D (Manual). I cannot shift from 4th gear into 3rd gear while the car is moving. It feels like hitting a physical wall, no grinding or noise, just a total lockout. Upshifting is fine 2nd to 3rd gear works perfectly. Also others gears no problem at all. From 1st to 5th to reverse. I can select 3rd gear easily when the car is stopped. The car recently sat in snow/freezing temperatures for 5 days. There is no “crunching” or grinding sound. And it was suddenly no prior symptoms. I moved my car afte

Hi, friends. Anyone know which of the two hoses on the power steering reservoir is the return line? I need to change the fluid in my 94 Camry with the 2.2 l. Alternatively, is there an easy way to differentiate between return and suction?

Any chance someone can tell me what’s going wrong here. I’m used a titan 3/16 double flaring tool and nicopp. It keeps giving me this weird stepped flare. I’m not sure what to call this issue so I didn’t know what to look up. I’m doing my best to get a square cut, then I chamfer the outside with a file and chamfer the inside with a utility knife until there’s no burrs. I’m sort of worried that the screwing motion of the tool is messing with it somehow and instead I need a press tool. What’s weird is I did get one sort of good flare but couldn’t replicate it. It’s also made a few good flares us

Does anyone here have experience with Front Steering and Suspension kits for older cars? [1] I’m helping a friend get a 1966 Mustang he inherited back up and running. The body is in nice condition. He’s looking at it as something to drive around locally, and not as a daily driver or for long trips. We got it running and it’s now registered. His front suspension is sloppy and loose, and has more steering play than it should, (even after tightening the steering box adj screw). The car is 1.5 hrs away from me, and we’re doing the work on his garage floor. We work on the car about twice a year. He
