700 mile update.Still loving it so far! Its performing better than expected if I'm honest.Handles very well for something just under 2 tonnes. Have had a bit of a play with it on fun roads and you can definitely feel the All wheel drive working. With near 300hp it feels like a mk7 Golf R I once test drove.The engine/electric combo in sport mode is very nice. It just cruises along on a wave of torque and if you boot it, the engine pulls hard at the top end with the extra shove from the motor.Efficiency wise, ive finally got the app to work properly so now I can nerd out on all the facts of all

I've decided to bounce between GTE (sport hybrid) and EV mode. GTE mode means the car leaves charge in the battery for when you do town driving. Worthwhile checking how the 330E manages charge in the various hybrid modes. It also means I don't need to use the charge mode.As for the engine kicking in from cold, it is annoying when it does that although my Golf does attempt some kind of warm-up if you pop it in hybrid. You may be better off just sticking to EV mode when joining a motorway if you don't have a chance to warm up the engine beforehand. It's not perfect but I'm sure it's enough especially with the low-down torque of the EV motor. The other thing to note is that BMW might be recommending a thicker oil, knowing that this is an issue. I understand this is the case for VW (although I haven't checked).Yeah hybrid eco pro does the thing where it saves battery for slower sections. That seems to work very well. Only issue with it is that its gutless.Yes I will be taking it for a service soonish at my local bmw specialist so will ask them Does sport and Xtraboost (presumably the non-gutless modes) not conserve battery power (by charging the battery) so you have extra powerrrrr when you need it from the EV?
