Post pictures of interesting filling stations and garages you come across: small, picturesque, disused, derelict or recycled - anything eye catching. Then and Now pics would be good too. This one is in Llandrindod Wells. I had to stop the car and walk back.When I searched on "Pritchard & Sons Llandrindod Wells" they are now Funeral Directors. That's a Change of Business Planning Application I would have liked to have seen.79.9p per litre? So, not a million years ago it was still functioning like this.

I’m driving an older vehicle today & was totally bewildered not to find a cup holder for my coffee.(I did find one eventually but there is only one in reach of the driver)It reminded me of a time (I think the 90’s) when top gear et al included number of cup holders in their reviews (possibly even in printed stats in the back of magazines if you recall them?). I was convinced at the time this was a piss take, I wanted to here 0-60 times not how many cup holders a vehicle hadI grew up in an era when the only thing consumed in a car were travel sweets - maybe occasionally an opal fruit. This place in Norway is on a busy road, there’s an Esso round the corner and two massive petrol / charging stations with restaurants attached 10 minutes away on the other side of the valley …. So no business case whatsoever. It’d be hard to pull in / out of from the other side of the road too.

An oil drain valve is a device that replaces your regular drain bolt and makes an oil change a much cleaner job. Had an earlier non-R-Design / satnav version. It was a great car and great engine in it, small for a Volvo estate, so no room for family + dogs + luggage - one of those 3 things had to stay at home.But all you'd expect from Volvo in terms of quality build, a nice design (for the time), and really quite a lot of power (for the time) in what was a physically small estate. Would I pay £12k for it now? Not a chance

With sustainability in mind, and trying to do something new, I am looking forward to charge my car battery using Solar Power, without making much changes to my car's electrical system. Basically I want the alternator and solar power to charge the battery to a certain level, lets say 13V. The rest 1-1.5V, I want to charge using solar power only, taking the battery upto 14-14.5V. Meaning if solar power isn't available (night driving/cloudy day etc), at least the alternator charges the battery to a certain extent to keep the car working as expected(starting etc).
