연료펌프의 압력 범위(예: 30-95 psi)가 왜 필요한지 궁금함. 이 압력값들이 펌프의 무방해 유량 압력을 나타낸다고 알고 있음. 부스트 참조 포트가 있는 압력 레귤레이터에 대해 읽음. 이 포트는 흡기 매니폴드에서 공기 라인으로 공급되어 진공/부스트 압력 하에서 매니폴드의 부스트 참조 압력이 레귤레이터가 우회시키는 연료량을 제어하여 배출 라인의 연료 압력을 변화시킴.

프론트 컨트롤 암(볼 조인트 및 부시)을 교체 중인데, 과도한 녹과 부식으로 인해 볼 조인트를 고정하는 슬릿 너트(성(castle) 너트)를 교체해야 함. 정확한 나사 크기와 피치의 교체용 너트를 찾기 어려움 - 정식 딜러, 닛산 딜러 2곳, 자동차 부품점 5곳, 하드웨어 매장 7곳을 통해 찾지 못함.

Subaru Legacy 5.0i 올휠드라이브 왜건의 우측 회전 중 뒷바퀴 타이어가 연석에 부딪혔고, 20분 후 펑크됨. 사이드월에 L자 모양의 컷이 있으며, 완전히 관통하지는 않았지만 코드가 노출되어 있고 더 이상 에어 타이트하지 않음.

브레이크 패드 교환

마스터 실린더 교체 후 브레이크 페달이 부드러워졌고 페달이 평소보다 훨씬 더 내려간다. 새는 곳은 보이지 않음. 06 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 1500 2WD

2009 쉐보레 아베오에서 배터리 경고등과 주차 브레이크 경고등이 켜짐. 주행 중 전기 부품들이 순차적으로 작동 중지 - 타코미터(0으로 떨어짐) → 연료/수온 게이지 → 와이퍼(느린 속도) → 라디오 → 대시보드 조명. 각 부품이 30~60초 간격으로 꺼짐.

매니폴드와 다운파이프에서 작은 누수(수 mm 크기)가 발생함. 미국 제조 레어 차량(99년식 Civic VTi)이고 영국에 있어서 부품 구하기가 어려움. 정비소에서는 부품을 교체해야 하며 임시방편으로는 효과가 없다고 함.

드라이브샤프트 교환

코일오버로 전체적으로 45-50mm 낮춘 차량에서 드라이브샤프트 베어링이 4-5개월마다 양쪽 모두 교체가 필요할 정도로 빠르게 손상됨. 낮아진 차량으로 인한 드라이브샤프트의 각도 문제가 원인으로 보임.

23 Tahoe 10L80 트랜스미션에서 유체 교환(플러시 아님) 후 경미한 쉬더 발생. OTC 유체 추출기로 검은색 유체 5.5쿼트 제거(팬 미분리), 발코린 ULV ATF 6쿼트로 보충.

I remember these when they were cheap, even low mileage ones, only going one way these days. Give it 10 years and a low mileage one like this will be 100k. I always loved the silver myself, smart looking.

Nice motor. And an electric drivetrain suits such thing extremely well. It’ll need a big ‘ol battery though, that’s for sure!

냉각수 교환

2012 볼보 C30 T5에서 에어컨을 켜면 15-30초 동안 냉각수 냄새가 실내에서 난다. 블로어만 켜면 냄새가 나지 않음. 과열이나 냉각수 부족, A/C 냉각력 저하는 없음. 최근 냉각수 탱크가 폭발적으로 고장나서 엔진룸 전체에 냉각수가 흩어졌었음.

I recently took a mate's son to his prom in my Caterham, was a nice thing to do. I'd totally underestimated the amount of effort that goes into prom transport There were quite a few interesting cars - quite a few 911s, couple of Ferraris (458 and 360), Rolls Royce Wraith, VW notchback that somehow wasn't overheating in the ridiculous heat and standstill traffic, and a surprising number of Mustangs (both classic and more recent). Plus a few limos - Ford Explorer, Hummer, Chrysler 300CAnyone driven someone to their prom in something interesting or seen any good cars?
