So for the last 3 years I've had my first electric car, its fast 0 to 60 in 3.7 and I'm conscious driving it has changed my driving style/behaviours , for example on one hand it makes me feel safer having the extra power, eg joining onto a motorway , pulling away from roundabouts . However is also makes me more frustrated at slower drivers and more likely to overtake , take a car doing 25 in a 30 for example.As I know I can overtake fairly easy , I'm begining to wonder if driving cars like this can make you a worse driver. Hey guys, I got a new trolling motor for my boat but it is 24 volts so I got 2 deep cycle batteries and I will be linking them in a series circuit. For charging the batteries I have a float charger for 24v but power is not always available which brings me to my diagram: Charging batteries linked in a circuit with a 12 volt source. I am not sure if this will work, I am open for other solutions if this is not possible. Edit:I should mention the isolator keeps all the connections separate only to supply a one way feed of current not connecting the 2 batteries together Thanks for your help.

I think I’d rather have a 12C… better looking and with the trick suspension. Strangely one thing which has always impressed me in McLarens are the column stalks. Beautifully made and very satisfying to use.

We are stopping my father in law from driving, he is slowly deteriorating and having a couple of non-driving cognitive scares in the last couple of week, we're doing the right thing and pulling him off the road.We're keeping his car as we want to, ultimately, get carers insured on it, so we've decided to insure it in my name (god knows how, but I'm the lowest risk person in the family - zero points or claims for 20+ years and early 50s).But, the car will be kept at his house, and is owned by him. Will that lead to insurance complications? Are there risks in saying it's kept at my house?Thanks

The current popular consensus seems to be that you should switch to winter tires during the winter. In its radical form, this conviction is more like "winter tires are better than all season tires in the winter no matter what" but it also comes in many more gentle flavours.
