2006 Pontiac G6 3.5 V6, 155,000마일. 부드러운 정지 중 ABS가 작동하고 브레이크 페달이 진동. 가속 전 ABS와 트랙션 컨트롤 경고등 점등. 40℉, 젖은 도로 상황, 냉각수 온도는 정상. 퓨즈는 모두 정상. 지난 며칠간 경고등이 켜졌다 꺼졌다 반복. 범프를 지날 때, 시동 걸 때, 그리고 컨트롤을 누를 때 점등/소등.

2004년식 Ford Focus SE DOHC의 엔진룸에서 빨간색 배선 하네스가 연결되지 않은 상태로 발견됨. 사진에 물음표로 표시된 하네스인데, 주변에서 암 커넥터를 찾을 수 없음. 엔진 구동 시 경고등이나 에러 메시지는 없으나, 연결되지 않은 하네스 때문에 부품이 손상될까봐 우려함.

목적지 도착 후 노킹 음 발생. 첫 점검 시 딥스틱에 오일 없음 - 5쿼트 주입 후 정상 작동했으나 다음 목적지에서 다시 노킹 발생. 그 이후에도 반복적으로 노킹 발생(매번 오일 있음). 노킹음은 주행 중에는 없고 감속할 때만 발생. 경고등 없음. 누유 흔적 없음. 배기가스에서 탄 오일 냄새 없음.

얼터네이터 교환

엔진을 오래 돌린 후 시동이 걸리지 않으며, 냉각될 때까지 기다려야 다시 시동됨. 엔진은 과열되지 않고 크랭킹은 되지만 시동이 걸리지 않음.

타이어 교환

브레이크 라이트가 항상 켜져 있고 스탑 라이트 쿠션이 원인. 새로운 쿠션을 딜러에서 구입했지만 교체할 때 포인트 노즈 플라이어로는 작동하지 않음. 스위치나 브레이크 페달 어셈블리 전체를 제거하지 않고 쿠션을 스냅인할 수 있는 더 쉬운 방법을 찾고 있음.

2012 Elantra가 신호등에서 정차 중 브레이크 페달을 밟고 있을 때 차량이 진동함. 심한 흔들림은 아니지만 발과 시트에서 진동이 느껴짐.

에어컨 가스 충전

1999 Ford Escort ZX2 2.0L DOHC(Zetec 엔진). A/C를 켜면 시동이 걸릴 때 스터터링과 정지가 발생하지만 다시 시작됨. A/C를 끄면 정상 작동. 도로 주행 중 A/C를 켠 상태에서는 문제 없음. 저회전 유휴 상태에서만 정지 시도.

2002 마즈다 프로테제5의 밸브 커버 가스켓 균열로 인한 오일 누유. 자가 교체를 고려 중이며, 스파크 플러그 와이어 라벨링 및 밸브 노출 부분 보호 등은 알고 있음. 가스켓에 실런트 도포 필요 여부 및 기타 주의사항 확인 필요.

머스탱이나 혼다 시빅에서 가끔 '팍팍' 거리는 큰 소음이 들림. 자신의 차에서는 이런 소음이 없음.

1998년식 I6 4.0L 엔진, ~175,300마일 주행거리. 냉시동 후 몇 초 뒤부터 디젤 엔진 같은 소음 발생. 따뜻해지거나 주행/회전수 올리면 완전히 사라짐. 주로 단거리 주행(약 9마일, 시골길과 고속도로 번갈아). 블록 하단에서 가장 큼. 청진기로도 명확한 음원 파악 안됨. 시동 후부터 워밍업까지 발생. 망치로 단단한 금속을 때리는 것 같은 노킹음.

I have a spare engine sitting around and i've been planning on building a 220V generator from it. I'll be using an old UPS device which uses two 12V batteries wired in series to make 24V and connect it to the car batteries. The plan is to have the engine power two car alternators and each alternator connects to one battery separately from each other while the batteries are still connected in series. Question is, will there be an issue for the alternators charging one battery each while they are connected in series ?

일반적으로 컨벤셔널 유압식 자동변속기 장착 차량을 공회전(엔진은 켜져있지만 드라이브트레인과 단절된 상태로 주행) 또는 글라이딩(엔진을 끈 상태로 주행)하는 것이 좋지 않다는 의견이 있습니다. 공회전은 불필요하거나 최악의 경우 과도한 마모를 일으킨다고 알려져 있습니다. 글라이딩은 오일 펌프가 작동하지 않아 윤활 부족으로 변속기 손상을 야기한다고 합니다. 같은 이유로 자동변속기 차량의 장거리 견인도 손상을 초래한다고 알려져 있습니다.

2001 미쓰비시 몬테로 앞 우측 휠웰에서 가속할 때 큰 쉬쉬거리는 음 발생. 공원 상태에서 시동을 걸고 3500rpm까지 가속해도 음이 나지 않음. 모든 진공 호스를 시각적으로 검사했으나 이상 없음. 기어에 넣었을 때만 큰 쉬쉬거리는 음이 발생. 음은 가압된 공기가 빠져나가는 것처럼 들림. RPM에 맞춰 맥동하며 연속적인 분사 소리가 아님.

2000 Chrysler Neon의 서스펜션 교체 필요. 주행거리 240,000km 이상. Monroe Sensa Trac 콤보 쇼크/스프링 부품 구매 검토 중 (#181580, #171578). 부품 가격 비교: $250/코너($1000 총액) vs $200/쌍($400 총액).

솔리드 리어 액슬 프로젝트 카에 순정 코일오버 옵션이 없음. 충격/스프링 콤보를 로우 쇼크 마운트에 부착하는 것에 대한 경고들이 있음. 로우 마운트가 모든 하중을 지탱하기에 너무 약해 보임.

트랙터 연료 주입 시 금속 캡(실제로는 냉각수 캡)에 휘발유를 붓자 휘발유가 분사되어 나왔고, 트랙터 아래 튜브를 통해 대량 유출됨. 캡을 열어두고 증발시키려 함.

배터리 교환

Subaru Forester 운전석 윈도우(RHD)가 스위치를 눌러도 작동하지 않거나 몇 초 지연 후 갑자기 열리는 증상 반복 발생. 때로는 정상 작동. 후측 윈도우도 간헐적으로 작동 불량. 최근 우천 없음, 이상음 없음, 배터리 교체 없음, 시동은 정상.
