직분사(DI) 엔진의 흡기 밸브에 카본이 쌓여 있습니다. 흡기 밸브 세정제를 사용할 때 떨어져 나온 카본 덩어리가 배기계통을 통해 흘러가면서 촉매변환기(캐탈릭 컨버터)나 배기 시스템을 손상시킬 수 있는지 우려됩니다. 흡기 밸브 세정제의 효과를 테스트하기 위해 제품 사용 전후로 흡기 밸브를 검사하려고 합니다.

2004 F150의 배기 행거가 녹슬어 없어졌고, 뒤쪽 마지막 행거(러버 아이솔레이터 포함)만 남아있음. 배기 파이프가 회전하면서 테일파이프가 뒷바퀴 뒤의 승객측 리어 쿼터 패널에 닿음. 여러 행거를 시도했지만 포장도로에서의 부드러운 주행에도 불구하고 몇 주 후에 손상됨. 배기가 회전하지 않도록 하는 내구성 있고 부식 저항성이 높은 행거 필요 (미시간 염설 도로)

머플러 교환

VW Golf MK4 BCB 엔진에 배기 프론트 파이프(1J0254300P)와 촉매변환기를 교체한 후, 1800-1900 rpm 구간에서 진동이 발생. 전반적으로 진동이 증가했으며, 특히 2단 기어에서 가파른 내리막길을 엔진 브레이킹으로 내려갈 때(RPM이 2000에서 1700으로 서서히 감소) 가장 심함. 디스플레이에 '0 l/100km'이 표시되어 ECU가 연료를 공급하지 않음을 확인했으므로 점화계통 문제는 아님.

시동이 잘 걸리지 않으며 엔진이 불규칙하게 작동합니다. 배기파이프에서 휘발유 냄새가 납니다. 체크 엔진 경고등이 켜져 있습니다. 엔진 교체 후 89,000마일입니다.

머플러 교환

볼보 2.0 디젤 Siemens VDO - 엔진이 데워진 후 4~6단에서 1800~2200rpm 범위에서 차량이 진동함. 경고등 없음. 진단 결과 연료 압력이 지속적으로 오르내림. 안정적인 주행 시에만 발생하며, 가속하거나 엑셀을 놓으면 증상 사라짐. 1~3단에서는 진동 없음. 인젝터 점검(정상), 연료 압력 레귤레이터 교체 후에도 증상 지속. 연료 라인 에어, DPF 재생 문제 의심.

2004 현대 엘란트라 GT 해치백에서 엔진 경고등이 나타났고 촉매변환기 불량으로 진단됨. 3일 후 아침에 시동 시 엔진음이 매우 크고 경고등이 사라짐. 3일간 미운행 후 오늘 정비소로 가려고 시동하니 정상 소음, 경고등 없음.

AMG SL 차검 진행 중 오일팬 가스켓이 손상되어 오일이 누유 중. 가스켓 고무 재질이 경화된 상태 (딱딱한 상태). 작업 내용: ATF오일 교환, 가스켓 교환, 엘리먼트 교환, 커플러 교환

배기구 근처에서 액체(물로 추정)가 떨어지고 있으며, 시동을 끌 때마다 배기 부분에서 이상한 배수 소리가 난다.

아침에 차를 시동했는데 파크에서 움직일 수 없습니다. 기어를 전혀 변속할 수 없습니다. 바퀴는 움직일 수 있습니다. 손상이 걱정되어 강제로 움직이지 않았습니다.

1994년식 토요타 캐미리. 배출가스 검사 불합격 - HC 2.62 GPM(제한값 1.2), CO 56.87 GPM(제한값 15). 엔진이 4000RPM 이상 회전하지 않으며 그 지점에서 리미터가 걸린 것처럼 작동. 기어는 페달을 살짝 누를 때만 정상 변속. 주차장에서 나올 때 도로 요철을 빠르게 지나가며 차 바닥이 긁혔고, 그 이후 엔진음이 훨씬 커짐. RPM 문제 발생. 엔진 출력 저하. 체크 엔진 경고등 없음.

Recently, i had a discussion with someone about tire width. I claimed, that with bigger (wider) tires, a car would have more traction/grip. The person i was discussing this with, agreed with me, up to a certain point. He said, that if the tires were too wide for the car, the opposite would happen, less traction/grip. He also claimed that the chance of aquaplaning would be higher. My thoughts on that were that that mostly depends on the kind of profile of the tire. It seems to me that if the same tire, on another car (fit for that tire width) would provide good traction/grip without increased a

Fiat 126p 변속기(기어박스와 디퍼렌셜이 통합된 유닛)가 코너링 중 완전히 기어가 빠지면서 디퍼렌셜 영역에서 심한 딱딱거리는 소음 발생. 차를 들어올린 후 1단에 넣고 한쪽 바퀴를 돌리면 딱딱거리는 소음이 재현되지만 다른 쪽 바퀴는 움직이지 않음. 유닛을 분해한 후 링기어를 지지하는 디퍼렌셜 베어링 중 하나가 손상된 것을 발견.

전기차와 하이브리드차가 왜 자동변속기만 사용하는지 이해하려고 함. 일반 휘발유/디젤 엔진은 토크 범위가 좁아서 변속기가 필요하지만, 전기모터는 처음부터 최대토크가 나오므로 변속기가 불필요해 보임. 하이브리드는 이유를 모르겠음.

포드 피에스타 1.25L 가솔린 차량의 기어박스 오일을 교환한 후, 사용한 오일이 75w-90 반합성유인데 포드 정식 규격은 75w-90 전합성유여야 한다는 것을 알게 됨. 반합성유를 계속 사용해도 손상이 없을지 우려됨.

토크 컨버터와 트랜스미션 사이의 ATF(자동변속기유) 흐름이 어떻게 되는지 궁금합니다. 컨버터와 트랜스미션을 연결하는 유압 라인이 보이지 않는데, ATF가 두 부품 사이에서 어떻게 순환하는지요?

볼보 Amazon, 164, 144 등 구형 모델들의 웜 앤 섹터(worm and sector) 스티어링 시스템 사용. 새로운 부시 장착 후에도 스티어링 시스템에 항상 유격(play)이 존재. 바퀴가 평행할 때 데드 포인트(dead point) 발생. 랙 앤 피니언(rack and pinion) 시스템과 비교하면 조향 성능이 현저히 떨어짐.

브레이크를 밟을 때 스티어링 휠이 심하게 떨림. 3개월 전에 앞뒤 브레이크를 교체했기 때문에 브레이크 패드는 문제없을 것으로 예상됨. (2006 Dodge Dakota)
