증상
2001 뷰익 리걸의 연료 펌프 교체 필요 가능성. 새로운 연료 펌프의 플로트도 기존 펌프와 동일한 문제 발생. 가솔린 게이지 바늘이 떨어지지 않음. 12게이지 구리선으로 플로트에 무게를 다는 방식의 안전성 문제. 구리선이 휘발유 탱크 내에서 전기를 전도하는 것에 대한 우려.
처리 내용
플로트에 무게를 다는 것은 원인(센더의 경직된 피벗)이 아닌 증상(플로트가 내려가지 않음)을 해결하는 잘못된 방식입니다. 센더는 펌프에서 쉽게 분리되므로, 장착하기 전에 센더가 전체 움직임 범위에서 자유롭게 움직이는지 확인하세요. 이를 위해 피벗에 윤활유를 바르거나 조정하여 피벗을 부드럽게 움직이게 해야 합니다.
