Yes, being traction limited up to 100mph or so would level the playing field somewhat a

The X5's I've had were brilliant at the going bit, but they're absolutely terrible at the stopping bit though for me. I get in both the 370Z and M4, and I'm very grateful that they both have brakes that actually work in comparison for sure. There are many large EV SUV s which actually outbrake dedicated Supercars Don t just assume because a car is heavy and powerful that it s braking ability is poor This is one example https://youtu.be/B9upjQFN-aM?is=BApSQwyp00zffaihYes I know...I am talking about the throttle response and acceleration, braking is not just about how quick is slows down, reaction times are everything. In an emergency braking situation, cars built in the last 5 years have auto braking systems which react and apply full braking in the less than the blink of an eye.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more. But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

However, quickly arrive behind a snail-moving vehicle. Country lane, but quite wide and easy to make progress. Except we have the brake lights in front sending out Morse Code signals; applies them for almost everything (or imagined). Next, traffic lights, stops, and then turns left, no signal, and snail acceleration; we've still got the Morse Code signals going. We proceed like this, at about half the speed the road is capable of, for about

(Had something very similar just 30 minutes ago - row of parked cars my side, car in front waiting for oncoming traffic, but I hung back ~1.5 to 2 car lengths just to give me some wiggle room, sitting with my brake lights on and at least 2ft from the kerb. Dumbfk in a new Volvo comes steaming up past me before looking past the end of his nose and seeing that there's a car coming
