2스트로크 엔진에서 배기 소음기(exhaust baffle)를 계속 사용할 경우 부작용이 있는가?

배기 시스템의 설계에 따라 다릅니다. 로드 바이크용으로 설계된 배기 시스템이라면 최적의 성능을 위해 머플러/소음기를 유지해야 합니다. 소음기 없이 작동하도록 설계된 풀 레이스 시스템(요즘은 소음 규제가 많아서 드문 경우)만이 소음기 장착으로 영향을 받을 수 있으며, 이것도 전체 설계에 따라 달라집니다. 소음기를 제거하면 성능에 영향을 미치는데, 보통 악화됩니다. 배기 시스템은 소음기가 주는 가스 흐름 저항을 고려하여 설계되기 때문입니다. 더 큰 소음이 반드시 더 좋은 성능을 의미하지는 않습니다.

Oooh, that's a decent idea of using separate portage for BBB, M11rph. The Aston is back from it's service and all is well.
