증상
1998 아쿠라 인테그라, 204k마일. 야외 경사면에 주차브레이크를 걸고 밤새 주차한 후 아침에 후진할 때 처음 브레이크를 밟으면 금속음이 크게 울린다. 이후로는 정상적으로 작동하며 전진할 때 브레이크 소음이나 유착 없음.
처리 내용
습도가 높은 환경에서 발생한다면 로터 표면의 녹이 제거되는 소리일 수 있다. 또한 브레이크 "공명" 현상일 수 있으며, 이는 브레이크가 로터를 60-150Hz 정도의 높은 주파수로 빠르게 물었다 놨다를 반복하면서 발생하는 낮은 음역대의 울림이다. 특히 자동변속기 차량에서 브레이크를 약하게만 밟아 차량이 시속 0.5마일 정도로 움직일 때 이런 현상이 발생할 수 있다. 근본적인 문제는 아니며, 후진으로 진입하는 것이 간단한 해결책이다.
