에어컨 컴프레서의 소음이 언제 발생하는지에 따라 컴프레서를 제거하지 않고 단순히 작동하지 않게 할 수 있는 경우도 있습니다. 설명 내용상 컴프레서 클러치 및/또는 컴프레서 자체가 불량인 것으로 보입니다(켜짐/꺼짐 상관없이 소음 발생). 불행히도 서펜타인 벨트는 클러치의 일부인 풀리 위를 지나갑니다. 에어컨 컴프레서를 "분리"하려면 차량에서 완전히 제거해야 합니다. 3.0L 엔진 기준 서펜타인 벨트 배치는 다음과 같습니다: #3 풀리가 에어컨 컴프레서 위치입니다. 대체 부품을 설치하지 않고는 제거할 방법이 없습니다. 에어컨 컴프레서 위치에 장착할 교체용 아이들러 풀리를 판매하는 곳이 있을 수 있습니다. 찾을 수 있다면 이것이 유일한 선택지입니다.
