증상
4.5년된 수동변속기 자동 시동 정지 기술 탑재 차량. 한 번 라이트를 밤새 켜둔 후 점프스타트 필요했음. 최근 엔진 자동 정지 후 클러치를 밟고 시동할 때 라이트가 순간적으로 어두워지는 현상 발생. 신차 때는 이런 현상이 없었음. 엔진 시동 실패 없음 (라이트 방치 시 제외). 배터리는 자동 시동 정지용 설계이나 AGM 타입 아님.
처리 내용
Battery University 정보에 따르면, 배터리는 수명 대부분 동안 같은 CCA 성능을 유지하다가 시간이 지나면서 용량이 감소함. 즉, 엔진 크랭킹 속도는 같지만 더 오래 크랭킹하지 못함을 의미. 배터리 수명의 정확한 측정 기준은 없으나 배터리 보증기간을 참고할 수 있음. 전체 보증기간이 5년이면 그것이 합리적 성능 기대치의 최대치. 일반적으로 저급 배터리 제외하고 대부분의 배터리는 약 5년 정도 지속. 현재 교체 시점에 가까워지고 있고 작은 문제들이 나타나기 시작했다면 배터리 교체 계획 수립 추천. 성능 저하된 배터리보다 더 나쁜 것은 없음.

스포츠 모드에서 엔진을 꺼버렸습니다. 드라이브 상태에서 수동 변속이 필요한 상황입니다. 자동 모드로 돌아갈 수 없고 파크 위치로도 이동할 수 없습니다. 시프트 락 릴리스를 시도했지만 수동에서 자동으로 전환되지 않습니다. 배터리를 분리했다가 다시 연결해도 작동하지 않습니다.
