증상
혼다 시빅 1.8 2009 가솔린 모델의 에어컨이 제대로 작동하지 않음. 에어컨을 켜면 냉풍이 나올 수도 있고 안 날 수도 있음. 잠시 후 갑자기 작동하여 냉풍이 나오다가 몇 초 또는 몇 분 후 다시 따뜻한 바람이 나옴. 다시 몇 분 후 작동했다가 멈추기를 반복하는 현상 발생.
처리 내용
시스템 재충전(냉매 충전)이 필요한 것으로 보임. 간헐적으로 발생하는 현상으로 보아 시스템이 작동 중 압력 기준값(특히 저압 측)을 벗어나 컴프레서가 자동으로 꺼지는 것으로 판단됨. 시스템이 압력을 균형을 맞추면 저압 측 압력이 올라가서 다시 작동하여 냉각되지만, 곧 압력이 기준값을 벗어나면서 반복됨. 에어컨 시스템 자체에 누수 등 큰 문제가 없다면 냉매 부족이 원인일 수 있음. 정기적으로 에어컨을 사용하지 않으면 밀봉부를 통해 냉매가 자연적으로 손실될 수 있음. 냉매 충전 후 정기적으로 사용하면 정상 작동할 것으로 예상됨. 에어컨 시스템 작업 경험이 없다면 에어컨 전문점에 맡길 것을 권장함.

The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car. re. the refrigerant - If you take the car to Quik-Fit they will empty the system for free (probably best to ring first to check but I've done it on a few cars..). This is actually a requirement if you work on the AC system of a car as the gas is pretty nasty for you and the environment.Once that's done it's pretty simple, just nuts n bolts but do fit a replacement drier though if you're opening the system up.
