증상
배기 매니폴드에 금이 있고, 매니폴드와 다운파이프/프론트 파이프를 연결하는 개스킷 주변에서 결로수가 발생함. 손을 개스킷 주변에 대면 매니폴드의 금이 난 부분을 제외하고는 배기 누출을 감지할 수 없음. 개스킷이 누출되고 있는지, 아니면 정상적으로 수분이 통과하는 것인지 확인 필요.
처리 내용
발견한 수분이 개스킷 누출에서 비롯되었다고 자동으로 가정해서는 안 됨. 손가락으로 감지할 수 있는 배기 누출이 없고 개스킷 주변에서 그을음 자국이 발견되지 않으면 개스킷 누출 가능성을 거의 배제할 수 있음. 정상적으로 개스킷이 수분을 통과시켜서는 안 됨. 수분의 정확한 출처는 불명확하지만, 배기 개스킷에서 유입되었을 가능성은 낮음. 어쨌든 금이 간 매니폴드를 수리하거나 교체하기 위해 배기 매니폴드를 분리해야 하므로, 그 과정에서 개스킷 걱정은 완전히 해결될 것임. 이 용도로 사용되는 배기 개스킷은 재사용하면 안 됨. 매니폴드를 분리할 때 자동으로 손상될 가능성이 높음.
