증상
배기관이 플랜지 근처에서 2조각으로 부러짐. 임시 수리로 파이프 조각을 고온 에폭시와 고온 실리콘으로 접착했으나 배기열로 인해 손상되어 파이프가 떨어짐. 재수리 시 배기 밴드 클램프 사용 중 파이프 OD 2"에 맞는 최소 사이즈 클램프를 찾기 어려움.
처리 내용
배기 밴드 클램프의 "밴드" 부분을 양쪽 볼트를 제거하여 완전히 분리. 밴드를 분리하면 3개의 "곡선형 금속부품"이 나타나며 이들이 함께 클램프를 구성. 밴드의 양 끝에는 각각 4개의 구멍이 있음(강도 증가를 위해 양쪽 끝이 접혀있음). 한쪽 끝에 기존 구멍보다 약 3/4" 아래쪽에 새로운 구멍 2개를 드릴로 뚫기. 그 쪽 끝을 펴서 위쪽 구멍이 새로 뚫은 구멍과 정렬되도록 다시 접기(강도 증가). 설치 후 간단함을 확인할 수 있음.
