증상
마스터 실린더 저수지에서 터키 바스터로 유체의 75%를 빨아낸 후 같은 양의 새로운 브레이크 액으로 교체하는 방식으로 주기적으로 시스템 유체를 교환할 수 있는지 궁금함. 투명하고 눈에 띄는 오염물이 없는 상태에서 부분 교체를 몇 마일마다 해야 하는지, 그리고 몇 사이클을 반복해야 하는지 확인 필요.
처리 내용
이 방법에는 하나의 중대한 문제가 있습니다. 브레이크 실린더/캘리퍼로 나간 유체는 절대 마스터 실린더로 돌아오지 않습니다. 이 유체를 제거하려면 특별한 조치가 필요합니다. 유일한 방법은 플러시(flush)하는 것입니다. 가장 큰 문제는 라인에 남아있는 브레이크 액이 시간이 지나면서 물을 흡수한다는 것입니다. 흡수된 물은 스틸 브레이크 라인에 부식을 일으킵니다. 결국 녹이 슬어서 문제가 발생합니다. 플러시하지 않으면 조만간 문제가 생길 것입니다. 참고로 브레이크 액 교환 주기는 주행거리와 관계없이 2년입니다. 그 이후로는 보통 색깔이 변하기 시작합니다. 색이 어두울수록 흡수된 물이 많다는 뜻입니다.
