증상
2001 Dodge Intrepid 2.7L 연료펌프 교체 후 시동 불가. 연료탱크를 1/8 수준까지 낮춘 후 펌프를 교체하고 탱크를 다시 장착했으나 시동이 걸리지 않음. 연료라인의 빠른 연결부를 분리했을 때 펌프를 프라이밍해도 몇 방울만 나옴. 약 2.5갤론을 추가하면 거의 시동이 걸림.
처리 내용
에어락(air lock) 문제. 새로운 펌프 설치 또는 탱크 드레인 후에만 발생함. 펌프 내부가 공기로 가득 차고 약간의 휘발유만 있어서 펌프가 체크밸브를 통과시킬 충분한 압력을 생성하지 못함. 해결책: 엔진 근처 연료라인에 수동 진공펌프를 연결하여 휘발유가 나올 때까지 펌핑. 이렇게 하면 펌프 내 갇힌 공기가 제거되고 펌프가 충분한 압력을 생성할 수 있는 연료가 확보됨.

Quite like that. Seems good condition & obvious curio out of all the hatches of the time.Treat it like a mini exotic GT car rather than a Type R rival & I recckon it fits the brief.Price wise given the scarcity of these is about correct for the right enthusiast.
