So last week my side detection on 2017 GMC Acadia Ltd had a service soon. Made an appointment for Tuesday. So today battery completely dead, have a jump starter and could get a little revolution but not enough to turn over long enough to start. Jumper box usually takes less than 15 seconds to charge back up. 15 minutes later still charging. Called for a tow to dealer, guy had a better jumper box I guess, mine is 600 amp. Tow guy got it to start drove it onto the flatbed, dealer calls and says you now have a check engine light, $100 diagnosis plus the $200 for side detection diagnosis. Another

If the battery was dead, you could either have a worn battery or an alternator issue, or that voltage sensor thingy on the battery. Might be worth it to have them take care ofbjt if you trust them. I had a three year old battery go bad on my Acura. Sunday morning stopped for gas before heading to South Dakota. Wife played radio. Came out and no start. Called for a jump and drove home. Got a new battery from Napa and all was fine again. Stuff hagppens.

I drive a 97 Honda Accord and just recently started experiencing an issue where while driving, my ignition suddenly shuts off. Sometimes when this happens I’m able to turn the key and get the ignition started right back up while coasting, but usually forces me to coast to the side of the road instead to throw it in park and restart ignition (instantly, no sputtering). We have a Honda Civic Hybrid with 204,000 miles on it. It’s my wife’s car and she commutes fifty miles every day in it. Late last week her IMA (hybrid battery) light came on. The last time this happened was 7 years ago. The battery pack was under warranty at the time and Honda replaced it. That warranty has since expired. 2012 Malibu, 140k. Started about 1-2 months ago. It cranks but doesn’t start. The lights, radio, etc, come on just fine. I replaced the battery first off.
