I don't think you understand the structure of the deal. And I don't think you have the slightest clue how the U.K. tax payer will be making money and how much. So please, show your workings as to how we will be making money. Not how Equinor will or some mad witterings about Norway. Just explain how much money the UK taxpayer will be making. I point to the actual price of Brent oil, I give the tax rate on the net profit margin.Why are you having difficulty in translating this to tax income for the UK?Why is pointing out the 2 trillion+ plus Norway wealth fund, whose genesis is taxation of North Sea Oil, wittering? Well I suppose it is, if your position is that countries do not get net income from North Sea oil production.However, cognitive dissonance doesn't cut it in the face of actual facts and reality, sorry!
