Continuing the theme of utter hopelessness went to the hospital this morning for a blood test. Usual car park chaos, folks abandoning cars on double yellows, wedged up on kerbs, verges, blocking pavements etc. I'd arrived very early to give me time to wait for a space with fall back of heading back out and street parking somewhere.Luck was in, dropped straight in to a just vacated space. Sat in the car for 30 mins watching several examples of inept and piss poor attempts to enter and leave spaces.Any road up time to leave, route home from main exit involves some traffic lights which are always busy but road works really screwing things up spectacularly. So I decide to slide round the back of the mental health unit to use the staff car park exit.Find my way out blocked by a Hyundai i10 (width 1.68m later looked it up) that is refusing to fit between an ambulance on pickup and a car dumped in a place that even without the ambulance needed to be towed.Anyway Hyundai eventually decides to shuffle a bit out of my way. I get past him and then through the gap, vehicle width a gnat's under 2m (2.2 with mirrors out). Yes it was admittedly a *very* careful squeeze but got through slowly. As headed further looked in mirror Hyundai is now having a go presumably on the basis of "well if he can get through..."Short while later I'm at the back entrance waiting for a gap in the traffic expecting the Hyundai to be following me. Glanced across, nope, still stuck refusing to go through the gap.Shakes head.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
