All it has to do as a first iteration is feed some early urban demand. It's the next one that will have the modern balance of controls and the latest battery tech. On the motorway cruising at 70mph it will average 2.5 miles per kWh, which is 300 miles of range. [My iX which is a similar size and shape averages more at this speed, with the A/C / heating on and riding on 22" wheels] Worst case in Winter, averaging 2 mi/kWh is still over 230 milesAnd at normal motorway speeds? . No one wants to be hypermiling. These days, I don't see many motorway drivers going much over 70mph, most are sat between 50-60mph.Sunday on my drive up to Sheffield on the M42 and M1, I lost count of the number of BMW M5/M3's and Audi RS3/RS6's bumbling along at a lot less than 70mph.I imagine for two reasons:-> With so many camera's around it's almost impossible to avoid getting zapped. BMW M5(E39) | HID 밸러스트 교체 | 공정 1: 최근 좌측 헤드라이트가 간헐적으로 점등하지 않음. 점등하지 않을 때 스위치를 여러 번 온오프하면 점등됨. HID 벌브라면 끊어지면 더 이상 점등되지 않을 것이므로 밸러스트가 원인으로 추정. 벌브를 좌우로 바꿔 장착해도 좌측의 상태가 여전히 좋지 않아 밸러스트가 원인임을 확정. 조사 결과 밸러스트는 전용품으로 상당히 고가. 중고도 2~3만엔대. 더 깊이 조사하면 HELLA 제품은 전압, 커넥터 등 내부 부품은 동일하고 케이스 형상만 차종별로 다른 것으로 보임.
Cheers both, that’s a really useful recommendation, I did see Sreten’s post the other day too.I have looked at similar aftermarket solutions before, but I’ve always questioned the quality and fit, but I think I’ll give one a go this time. It’s got to be better than what’s on there currently.I’m normally a bit of a stickler when it comes to genuine parts, just for the fit and finish, but I think this time I’ll give them a shot.They are rarely seen and there is always a good chance if I do go OEM, it will only take a low kerb to potentially destroy £300‘s worth of plastic….
Top work and a wonderful result. Just shows what BMW could have done had they decided to. Glad it did not turn into M5 WOE ! Wonder if that one exists?
Looks fab next to the E91 M3. Another vote for cinnamon leather here; it’d look fantastic against the paint.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
