증상
2003 닛산 프리메라의 연비가 매우 나쁘고, 검사 시 배기 누수가 있는 것으로 판단됨. 히트 실드를 제거한 후 비누 물로 분무 테스트를 실시했을 때 O2 센서 베이스 부분에서 버블이 발생하는 것을 확인함. 해당 위치에서 배기 누수가 발생하는 것으로 추정됨.
처리 내용
O2 센서 나사산에 Permatex 알루미늄 Anti-Seize를 도포하는 것보다 구리 와셔(copper washer)를 사용하는 것이 더 좋은 방법임. Anti-Seize는 나사산이 고착되는 것을 방지하도록 설계된 제품이므로, 밀봉 역할을 하도록 설계되지 않았기 때문에 밀봉되지 않을 수 있음. 다만 운이 좋으면 작동할 수도 있음.
